Fuckup Nights is a global movement born in Mexico in 2012 to share publicly business failure stories. Hundreds of people attend each event to hear three to four entrepreneurs share their failures. Each speaker is given 7 minutes and is able to use 10 images. After each speaker, there’s a question/answer session, as well as time for networking.

“Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.” – Robert F. Kennedy

Failure is generally considered to be a negative thing in our society. From the moment we set foot in this world we are culturally conditioned not to make mistakes and maybe that is the very reason so many of us aren’t able to get up when we fall down. We’re so afraid of failures that we’ve forgotten that falling down is the only way to learn how to get up. In a society which despises failures, it becomes an instinct to get embarrassed if we ever fuck-up in personal of professional but those fuck-ups are learnings and we celebrate those learnings. We believe in a society that learns from their failures and we’re bringing this culture to Pakistan.

FuckUp Nights Islamabad will be starting with a new crew of initiators. Follow us on Facebook.
