How to deal with the copycats?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

And believe us, we’re flattered. Since we’ve started up we’ve seen our fair share of me-too’s, oddly familiar events, and straight up rip-offs. It all helps the goal though – to teach that failure sucks, but instructs. When we come across one, we ask them to join the Fuckup Nights fam, and see if there’s room to collaborate.

And sometimes, if you’re doing it right, things just have a way of working out. When we get press requests, we usually ask the reporter how they heard about us. Some of them admit that they found one of our beloved copy cats first, and after searching for more info, found us.

Today we want to give back this favour, and introduce you to one of the most creative, unofficial versions of Fuckup Nights – Fckup N8 🙂

We’ve found about half a dozen of similar event series that talk about business failure using similar names, many times just copy pasting text from our website.  We truly believe it’s awesome.
