WHAT IS FUCKUP NIGHTS?

Fuckup Nights is a global movement born in Mexico in 2012 to share publicly business failure stories. Hundreds of people attend each event to hear three to four entrepreneurs share their failures. Each speaker is given 7 minutes and is able to use 10 images. After each speaker, there’s a question/answer session, as well as time for networking.

TESTIMONIALS

The spirit behind FuckUp Nights is what really drew me to organizing the event for Ottawa. You see plenty of events where people tell you how they hacked, hustled, and created their success, but very few where someone gets up and says “I totally messed up, and this is what you can learn from it.”

The Fuck Up Night is the confrontation of the other side of the coin, what we do not like. It is the ideal place to come clean with your audience, but more important than that, yourself Gustavo Alvarez

The Fuck Up Night is an open and direct talk about the challenges of entrepreneurship. Until now there was no place to share stories and learn from failures. I love the initiative, I find extremely useful and relevant Natalia Wills
